Atlanta Braves T-Ball

Jake played T-Ball for the first time this spring. He has been asking to play T-Ball for two years now, so he was so excited when he finally reached the magic age of 5. Mike coached his team which was a lot of fun for both of them. Of course they were the Atlanta Braves, which made it even more exciting for Jake. He LOVED every minute of it. Before we went to the last game, Jake was crying and saying that he didn't want it to be over because he hardly got to play any games. We just laughed, because they played 20 games. We were definitely ready for it to be over!! 20 T-Ball games is a lot for one season. He loves baseball.

Honestly - do you really need a catcher in T-Ball? For some reason, though, it was the position that they all fought over and wanted to play. Very funny!

Tried to take a few video clips one game - didn't turn out too clear.

GO BRAVES!! Jake is such a cutie!! Spencer would be jealous that Jake was able to wear a bonafide catchers uniform. Spencer had to somehow come up with his own... Power Rangers mask, a construction vest backwards and bright orange shin guards. (Guess I have to give him credit for thinking outside the box:-)
