We had another busy fall with Jake and Sydney playing soccer.
Mike coached Sydney's team and absolutely loved it. Sydney loved it even more. They both had a blast together. It was an all girls team with 8 to 10 year olds. They went undefeated in the regular season!!! They improved a lot and had lots of fun. The only bad thing is that Mike tore his meniscus in his knee while playing with the girls. I remind him that he isn't 8 years old like the girls, but his mind still thinks at that level. The girls loved how he got out and played with them. A knee surgery was the result, though:) All I could do is laugh.
Jake had a lot of fun playing soccer, too. He is super competitive and takes it all way too serious. He absolutely loves playing any kind of sport.
