Fun School Times

It seems like there is always something going on at school to keep things fun for Jake and Sydney. I'm lucky to have a job where they don't care if I leave for my children's activities so that I've been able to be to everything. I don't always remember to take my camera to everything, but here are just a few of the things that have been going on the first half of the school year that we have caught on camera.

Sydney made the all A honor Roll for the first grading period. We were proud of her, but I think she was even more proud of herself.

Mad Scientist Day with the 3rd grade. They all dressed up like mad scientists and had a science day. Mike and I were both able to go help. It was fun. Mike had more fun than the kids I think. Check out Sydney's mad scientist hair. We wrapped her hair around pipe cleaners so it would stick up crazy. She loves Mrs. Heming!!

Sydney had her winter concert. There is some video below. It was quite shaky, though. Jake was sitting on my lap and making it hard for me to hold the camera still. The concert was an hour long, but I just put up two little video clips.

Jake went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch where they went on a hay ride, picked out a pumpkin, listened to stories, and more.

Pumpkin Day in kindergarten. Science and pumpkins are a great combination!!

Award ceremony! Proud to be one of the students of the month from his class.

Christmas program! After it was over, he started getting a bloody nose. Dad fixed it by stuffing his nose with tissue.

Video from the Christmas program. Loved it!!
