Thought I'd update you what we did over this summer while I'm emptying off my digital camera pictures onto the computer. We had a fun summer and have loved Florida so far.
In April we traveled back to Atlanta for Mike's PhD Ceremony. It was lots of fun. We love Atlanta and often miss it. Both sets of grandparents made it so we had lots of fun with their visits.
Glad to have dad done with school.

We have been to see a few space shuttle launches. We went down to Port Canaveral about 20 minutes from us where all the cruise ships come in and out to watch it take off since it is so close to Cape Canaveral. It is a lot of fun to hear and watch. I could have gotten a closer shot of the space shuttle but pushed my camera button too late.
Our big trip this summer was flying out to Missouri (Warrensburg, MO) to visit my brother and his family. His son Kade was baptized and we had a lot of fun being there for it. We got to spend great time with my family and the kids even got to see their great grandma. The kids did not want to leave their cousins. They played nonstop.
We also have spent LOTS of time at Sea World. We have season passes and never get sick of it. The kids love it. Picture below is of Jake going on his first roller coaster there. He loved it.
The highlight of Jake and Sydney's summer was having their aunt Jackie come stay with us for three weeks. We played a lot and they were very sad to see her go.

The neighborhood pool has been used tons. Of course Mike is usually the cause of fun with kids in the pool. He's a kid himself. Sydney loves doing tricks with him.
We purchased our first house!!! We really like the neighborhood. It is really close to the school and everything else we need. There are tons of kids in the neighborhood. We've been enjoying painting and will send pictures of the inside along later. We love our neighborhood pool and use it lots.

Very nice love your house maybe someday we can move away from middle of nowhere Nevada a get a nice house.... Sorry to hear about the storm I hope everything stays safe and no damage to the new house or anything. Love all your pictures!

I am so excited that you started this. I LOVE seeing the kids. I hear about everything but it is so much fun to see what is going on. Thanks for doing it and don't forget I am going to check it very often!!!
It's so fun to hear about your busy, busy summer. Congrats on the house and everything else! We started school Monday and I didn' shed a tear (3rd grade now), so maybe 2 more years.
Great blog! Spencer keeps asking to watch the videos of Jake and Sydney. It's inspired him to "improve his backstroke." (He still wears a life jacket). Love the pictures of the Oldsmobile, I mean the new house!
